The $1,000 WSOP Event has officially sold out, according to organizers.

Harrah's released a statement earlier today that said approximately 6,000 players have registered for this year's cheapest way to a bracelet.

It was obvious the event was going to be epic when the halls of the Rio came to a near standstill shortly before the 12 p.m. start. That's a lot of donkeys!

With the $40,000 event drawing a surprisingly high amount of players, the Omaha Hi-Lo event setting a new record for attendence and now the $1,000 event getting in the range of 6,000 players it's shaping up to be quite a summer.

This should be a good news for good players due to the fact that if you want a bracelet it would make more sense to find one more $1000. and play at a $2000.00 buy in tourny, which give us an idea who are most of this players. It is obvious more analysis capacity is needed to determ what make more sense,$1000.00 tourny with 6000 players or $2000.00 with about 2000 players, and ofcourse they will use the same principle to play poker,in my opinion a -EV proposition if we think about utility value.
So a good player will make a feast out of most of them, that is if they don't get lucky an send you home by calling your all in with K7o and kick your....out of the tournament.!
