The $1,500 Omaha Hi-Lo Split Event has just played to the final table and the amazing news is that last year's winner of the parallel event, Thang Luu, has made the cut.

Winning an event of this size two years running would be an incredible achievement and Luu is well set to make history and do just that.

Here's the final table layout in full:

Robert Price
Ming Reslock
Jordan Rich
Ed Smith
Thang Luu
Pascal Luu
Jim Geary
Freddy Deeb
Senovio Ramirez

German fans won't be best pleased by the news that young star Sebastian Ruthenberg was the man who just missed out, bubbling the final table as he saw his dominant chip stack evaporate in quickfire fashion.

No second bracelet for Ruthenberg just yet then.

Two players who fared better were Freddy Deeb and Jordan Rich and it looks like it's going to be a monumental battle for the bracelet.

The question is though, can anyone stop "wild" Thang?
