8-Ball One Time: Omaha Hi-Lo Continues
Created By: Martin Derbyshire Posted in: WSOP Blog, Tournament Trail
They split pots until the wee hours of the morning yesterday, but still couldn't get the Omaha 8 final table set.
Eventually, Eli Elezra busted 20th, and at around 3 a.m. PT the 19 players still in contention hit the sack.
Now they're back with plans to play all the way down to a bracelet winner.
Things got rolling a few minutes after 2 p.m. with a player by the name of Ed Smith leading the pack.
However, Thang Luu, who won this thing last year, still has a chance to repeat, sitting second in chips.
Freddy Deeb, Jordan Rich and Sebastian Ruthenberg are the most recognizable players left in the mix and this thing is far from over.
A $263,135 first-place prize hangs in the balance and PokerListings will let you know who grabs it up a little later in the day.
