Denizens of the Finnish poker world have been killing the online scene for some time now, with numerous Finns playing extremely high stakes and doing extremely well. Will this success carry over to the WSOP? One can imagine that if these same players play enough events, we'll surely see some Finnish domination.
With that in mind, here are PokerListings' picks for the Top 5 Finns most likely to make a splash at the 2008 WSOP.
5) Juha Helppi. Hailing from Helsinki, Helppi has already proven his prowess in the live MTT world. With over $2 million in lifetime winnings he'll be looking to snag his first bracelet to go with his 10 WSOP cashes.

Why post pics that would just be dwarfed by PA's handsome visage?
4) Thomas Wahlroos. Thomas is a red name over at Full Tilt poker and is no stranger to the final table. He has over $1 million in live tournament winnings and is looking to improve on his four cashes at the 2007 WSOP.
A third-place finish at the 2006 Grand Prix de Paris indicates that this cash-game specialist has the chops to bring home a bracelet.
3) Jani "KObyTAPOUT" Vilmunen. Jani is one of those Finns murdering the high-stakes games online. At Full Tilt he can be found playing the highest stakes available.
Predominately an Omaha player, if he is in town for the Series, you can bet he'll be making a run at the World Championship Omaha event.
2) Sami "LarsLuzak" Kelopuro. Another one of those online sharks frequently found infesting the waters of the Full Tilt high-stakes games.
LarsLuzak is well versed in Hold'em as well as in Omaha. Despite being a young 'un at just 21, he should have a decent Series should he decide to play.
1) Patrik Antonius (pictured). I personally think Patrik should be No. 1 on every list, but I guess that wouldn't be fair to the rest of the world. I think I would be drawn and quartered, however, if I left him off this list.
With one final table and two cashes already, it didn't take long for Patrik to make a mark on the WSOP. If I was a betting man (and I am) I would bet he isn't finished there.
PA is one of the best in the world no matter what the game, so I will be betting on more final tables for the Finnish Brad Pitt.
