So, the action in the Amazon Room gets started at noon PST with Sirous Jamshidi, David Ulliott, Erik Cajelais and eventual champion Burt Boutin, who reversed Cajelais' chip lead in heads-up play before eliminating the Canadian with aces-up against Cajelais' top pair. For the win, Boutin captured his second WSOP bracelet and $883,778 in prize money.
Beyond the Day 1s, Saturday will feature the thrilling finales to both the $2,000 NLHE (Event 23) and $2,500 Pot Limit Hold'em/Omaha (Event 24) events. Check out the PokerListings.com daily recap and live updates page and study up before action kicks off under the mood lighting at 2 p.m. PST.
We'll also see Events 25 and 26, the $10,000 World Championship Heads-Up No Limit Hold'em and $1,500 Seven-Card Razz tournaments. Again, if you check out the PokerListings.com live update page we'll get you sorted out as these events play down to the final table.
Basically, the moral of the story is: keep it locked on PokerListings.com or we'll hunt you down and tape your eyes open while making you read the competition. Now that's cruel and unusual.
