The day began as many do at the Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino during the World Series, in utter chaos. The registration lines stretched the considerable length of the hallway outside the tournament room and it was well past the scheduled start time of noon before the tournament was able to get underway.
Things got started with a short speech by Greg Mueller leading the pack with $130,000. Kirk Morrison and Joseph Tehan are also running good and in the top ten.
Action in this event is slated to get underway at 2pm tomorrow but be sure to hit us back at noon for the beginning of Event 3: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em. As always, big it up for your main geezers at PokerListings.com, the most ballingest tournament reporting crew in the business!
