WSOP Random Observation #7: Friedman's A Pizza Work

The series always attracts its fair share of outrageously attired players, looking to bathe in the glow of the media spotlight.

This year Perry Friedman is the man making the early running for "Crazy Hat of the Series," today wearing what appears to be a pizza atop his head.

Friedman is well-known for sporting eye-catching looks, last year changing his hair several times during the course of the series.

This year he has pulled a succession of bizarre hats out of his closet.

"It's easier than changing my haircut all the time!" Friedman was heard saying.

Friedman may feel he is on easy street to the "Crazy Hat of the Series" title right now, but once the Main Event rolls around, we'll see a bunch more players challenging him with increasingly incredible sartorial choices.

Last year's clear winner wore a full Indian headdress so Friedman shouldn't count his chickens just yet as we will undoubtedly see some more insane looks before the series is done.
