The 41st WSOP has officially begun and the tournament series has never felt more expansive.
Although the WSOP has always had an enormous footprint at the Rio, this year the event seems like its spread over miles of territory.
For the first time ever the gigantic Amazon Room by the new Pavilion Room and be sure to dedicate some time if you're planning on walking across that beast.
Everything seems bigger with a new WSOP awards stage (complete with 57 bracelets), a bar and interview room for the media (thanks Harrah's!).
Not only does the series seem bigger it also feels much more stream-lined with just the two giant poker rooms.
It's only Day 2 of the WSOP but so far we have to say kudos to Harrah's for a well-organized start.
Bonus points to the person who spots the well-known poker pro in this photo!
