I was able to build my stack up to about 12k from 4500 and then ran over to the restart of the 1k event.
I had 14,600 chips and the blinds were 500/1k. I increased my stack to around 18.5k before I was moved to another table.
We were around 30 players from the money (everyone is playing ridiculously tight) when I was dealt QQ and there was a raise to 3500 utg and a 3bet from utg+1 to 13.5k (from a 25k stack, old trucker looking guy).
I stick it in with QQ instantly just thinking I don't care if I cash or not and the dude has AA. Looking back I think it's a pretty awful move getting it in there with QQ because the guy will have KK AA there like almost ALWAYS.
After I busted, I ran back over to the PLO event and then the domination began. I got lucky a few times, hitting a huge hand to more than triple up with 41% equity.
After that hand, I maintained the chiplead through the rest of the night. I finished with a mountain in front of me, 227,300 chips with the average stack at 45k.
Looking to keep chipping up and maintain the chiplead as we move towards the final table today. Goal today is to make the final table with good chips.
Tomorrow, I'll worry about the bracelet.
