(Hand history and stats from PL.com MarketPulse Biggest Pots section.)
The Setup
Krantz is on the button and opens the hand with a raise to $3,500. palatino makes the call from the small blind, and Patrik also comes along for the ride in the big blind.
It goes three-handed to a 2
9
6
flop. palatino and Patrik both check and Krantz bets $7,100.
palatino folds and Patrik check-raises $19,900 more to $27,000. Krantz tanks for a short period before shipping it all-in for $107,774.
Patrik makes the call and turns over J

. He'll need to catch one of the remaining nine clubs to beat Krantz's 9
2
.
The Breakdown
Krantz is on the button and makes a fairly loose raise to $3,500 with 9
2
. With a suited six-gap he is relying on fold equity rather than hand strength. Ideally he would like to win the blinds without much of a fight.
Unfortunately for him, neither of his opponents cooperates. Both palatino and Patrik call.
palatino's call is a sign that he has some sort of decent hand. It's not a good idea to see flops with weak holdings when you're only 50 BBs deep.
Patrik is drawn in by the attractive pot odds. With $8,000 in it already and deep stacks behind, Patrik only needs to call $2,500 more to see a flop. Thus, he decides to make a loose call out of the big blind with J
4
.
The flop comes 2
9
6
. palatino misses and checks, and Patrik checks as well. Krantz makes a bet of $7,100.
This is a great bet - purely for value. This lucky flop hits his weak hand hard, giving him top and bottom pair. He knows this bet is not going to get much respect since it looks like a standard c-bet on a board that is unlikely to help a pre-flop raiser.
palatino folds to the continuation bet and Patrik comes alive with a check-raise to $27,000. Patrik makes a strong semi-bluff with a flush draw and one overcard.

Black Lotus: Does not enjoy getting binked.
Often in this spot, Krantz will have nothing but air and be forced to fold. Here, in reality, Krantz has two pair and is going nowhere; he shoves all-in for $107,774.
Patrik eventually decides to call. He is getting 2-1 against Krantz's range. If we put him on a perceived range of TT+, 88, 97s+, 87s, A9o, K9o, Q9o, J9o, T9o, 87o, Patrik is only a 45% underdog. Getting 2-1 pot odds on a 45% shot, there's no way Patrik can fold.
Even against Krantz's exact hand he still has eight outs. Unfortunately for Patrik, though, Krantz immediately binks the 9
on the turn, giving him a full house and Patrik a losing flush.
Krantz is shipped the $226,048 - the 11th-biggest pot online so far this month.
