Shaun Deeb Quitting Poker?

Evidently Shaun Deeb is giving up the whole MTT poker thing, despite being regarded by some as the best online tournament grinder in the world.

He opened a thread on 2p2 a few days ago with these words.

"yah Im burntout I hate them I'm done with them. I cant win live everyone was always right I cant win online I just ran good everyone was always right. I'm gunna take rest of year off hopefully and go do something else yah poker was good for a while but **** I hate what I've become. "

Apparently it's for real as a few other online pros chime in throughout the discussion.

Last time we saw Deeb was at the WSOPE Main Event and seemed pretty happy with everything. We'll see if this "retirement" takes. It wouldn't surprise me if we see him back on the felt before long.

    AHH come on shaun it's normal to be feeling what you are feeling. I know with all those long hours in front of your comp and all those blunts and jelly donuts has made you soft. The real problem is you just cant stand that you are a twenty something who has never had a girlfriend, never been in love(your comp doesn't count) and never been laid. I agree take some time off try and meet a girl and enjoy the world outside your bedroom!!!!!

    Just fought my way through the 2p2 thread... Seems the guy is a real hero in there. I personally find him arrogant, bad-mannered and just... young.

    But, put aside my personal dislike, the recipe for launching a happier comeback would be something like:

    Take some time off, stop smoking weed, get in decent shape and come back and play 10% of the hours you do now. ... Don't 6-bet A9...

    Then you'll do just fine :)
