Run-Good Challenge Facebook Edition

The PokerListings Run-Good Challenge took place this past Sunday. It was an eventful afternoon and the festivities kicked off with a bit of an unexpected twist.

Originally scheduled as a private event for RSVP'd guests from our Facebook Fanpage, the tournaments password leaked a few hours before tipoff and the news spread like wild fire.

This occurred unintentionally and caused some of our legitimate members to miss out on participating.

Obviously we weren't thrilled by this turn of events and we'll definitely make it up to you in the near future. We'll take precautionary measures (i.e. using tickets instead of a password) and keep it tidy next time. Don't you worry.

The tournament was played on Pokerstars and played host to a capacity field of registrants; 3000 to be exact. The side prizes were plentiful. We had two bounty winners, smuk1 and mortadelo07, who both scooped $100 for their efforts.

There was also cash up for grabs for the first player to post a screenshot of winning a hand with 2-7 as the hole cards.

There was a 3-way tie for this prize. We awarded each player $10 for their masterful deuce-seven play. Congratulations to Pete Scull, Hootan Mehr, and Willi Gerling.

As well, congratulations to Alessandro Papadopolous. He won $25 for being the first to show a screenshot of getting his pocket aces cracked. Bitter sweet!

The 9 finalists for the day are listed below.

  1: mity13 (Ростов на Дону),   $500.00

  2: inhuu (Olsztyn),                        $300.00

  3: MarkAvreliy1 (Vologda),         $200.00

  4: HsH_777 (Златоуст),               $100.00

  5: coyotttt (zenta),                       $50.00

  6: chukky1 (brasov),                    $40.00

  7: Tanirka (Ufa),                             $30.00

  8: FANTIK69 (Самара),                 $20.00

  9: buburuzu01 (Pangarati),         $10.00

Stay tuned to the facebook fanpage [http://www.facebook.com/pokerlistings] for updates on the next freeroll. Be sure to read the event details as we'll make sure to be very precise with the rules and instructions.

There were a few players who were unclear about how to take and post screenshots and it became a disadvantage to them.

We are working hard to make these tournaments and contest fun and fair for all. We appreciate your feedback, participation and patience.

Cheers and keep on grinding,

Pokerlistings Staff.
