Based on everything we've seen Phil Hellmuth pretty much lives in a bubble.

The photo above sums it up for me. Hellmuth at the center of everything, the rest of the world just a smiling, laughing, adoring blur, lucky to be caught in the sparkling brightness of Hellmuth's radiating charisma.

I feel like there might have been a time this was all an act, but based on the last few years it seems to be a reality in his mind now.

Hellmuth busted out of this main event after bricking the preliminaries but it's still tough to argue with his record. He's doing something right but it's a shame his comportment isn't on par with his ability to win tournaments.
