On February 7 of this year Matt Stout started documenting his Sunday online MTT sessions right here on PokerListings.com. Since that day he's up $168,030.28.
Read Stout's Sunday Report to find out how he does it.
I bricked out the first 13 tournaments I registered for this Sunday, but managed to turn it around and find the rungoodsauce a few hours into the session! Just wish I'd known so I could have slept in and saved some money. =)
The Tilt $163+rebuys has gone from being a thorn in my side to one of my favorite Sunday tournaments. I'd imagine I had to be down at least $20-25k in this tournament until recently, when it seemed like the proverbial "switch" got flipped and I started running great in it ... until we get short-handed at the final table at least.
I lost with J♠ J♦ < 2♠ 2♥ all in pre for 98% of the chips in play to "gregior" a few weeks ago, but was more than happy to take the $31k for 2nd place.
This week I managed to get back down to 3 players in it, but lost a chip lead pot with J♥ T♣ to Joe "hoodini10" Udine's Q♠ T♠ all in on a J♣ 9♣ 3♥ when he rivered the 8♠. Since the field was much larger this week I picked up ~$39k for the finish, though, which certainly doesn't suck!
Had a couple other close runs and near misses of other final tables. Yadda yadda ya ... I also won the Cake $109 for $2,856.

(I'd actually like to take this moment to point out that this blog hasn't really been showing what I originally intended it to do, which was document the unreal variance of big field tournament poker. Obviously playing ~40 tournaments/Sunday reduces variance a bit in the long run, but I've definitely been extremely fortunate on Sundays this year. I love being a luck sack!)
