Some of whom you've probably heard of - i.e Vivek and Gobbo - and some you probably haven't - i.e Somerville, Stephen O'Dwyer and Leo Wolpert.
Well, you probably have now, as the latter two made the "Elite 8" of the $10k heads-up event and Leo shipped the whole GD thing.
He vanquished seven of the world's best heads-up players en route to the final table before handily defeating EPT founder John Duthie in a best-of-three heads-up confrontation.
Leo controlled the match from the minute the cards were in the air and easily could have swept the series if it weren't for Duthie hitting every single draw when all-in.
Duthie's all-in-run-good wasn't enough in the end and he fell to the law student/poker player.
After they split the first two matches they agreed to chop and play for $100k and the bracelet, so for the win Leo ships $550,000 and the honor of being the first goon with a bracelet.
Congrats again Leo "Unamuno" Wolpert. It couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
