Joseph Cheong was born in Seoul, South Korea, but moved to the U.S. when he was six years old. He enters the November Nine final table with 23,525,000.

Cheong now resides in La Mirada, California and has a B.S. in Psychology and a Joint B.A. degree in Math and Economics from UCSD.

He's been playing since 2007 and won his first major poker tournament earlier this year when he took down a $300 No-Limit Hold'em preliminary event at World Series of Poker Circuit Rincon in San Diego.

He took home $17,541 for his efforts in that event so he's already locked the biggest score of his live poker career by securing a spot in the November Nine.

Known as subiime on Full Tilt Poker, Cheong won Mini-FTOPS event in 2009 for $55,000.
