Color Coding on Full Tilt

James over at CodingtheWheel.com has written two really fantastic posts on how to use color coding on Full Tilt to revolutionize your table selection.

As James says in the first blog, "What's arguably the single biggest deficiency of the losing poker player at any limit? Poor table/game selection."

This solution helps you identify at a glance the quality of players on Full Tilt tables.

The first part of this task involves understanding the system, and the theory on how it can be implemented. For that you're going to want to head to the first post:

Once you've digested that nugget of awesome, you can head to his second blog which provides you with the logic and code for automating color coding from your Poker Tracker player database.

Unfortunately for the average technophobe, Coding the Wheel is a blog designed for computer programmers with an interest in poker. To use the code he wrote you're going to need to understand C# and can compile and run code on your system.

Even if you don't have any idea what I'm talking about, the first blog is still worth a read.

Also, now that PokerStars has added color coding to its software, it won't be long until there's a packaged program available to automate this for you.

Once one's available, I'll be sure to let you know.

If you look in the FT lobby, it shows colors for all players on the table from there. This allows you to find good tables without having to open the table for your HUD.

or you can try retroblock the QW4xLj by minimizing your VTW3 card but make sure you only do that after you extract the venomous dioxi-poly glutton from the SSTS mainframe.

    My glassssses.

    James,

The #1 reason to do it this way is for table selection. If you look in the FT lobby, it shows colors for all players on the table from there. This allows you to find good tables without having to open the table for your HUD.

the HUD only helps you when you're already at the table.

    But a good point anyways.

or you can just set up your HUD in HEM or PT to colour code players' display names according to the stats of your choice, in 2 mins or less
