Events 32-39: Matt Stout's Brickhouse

Matt Stout Event 32 - $2,000 No-Limit Hold'em, Event 34 - $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em, Event 36 - $2,000 No-Limit Hold'em, Event 39 - $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em.

What do they all have in common? Soft fields, huge prize pools, and my buy ins donated to each of them without me even sniffing the money or day two in any of them. Brick, brick, brick, BRICKKKKKKK!

I'm still feeling pretty good though...except for this cold that I'm just getting over. I skipped the $1,500 NL and the $5k NL shootout that were held on Sundays in favor of playing online.

After last week's 2nd place finish in Tilt's $109 cubed, my only deep run this Sunday resulted in an 11th place finish in the late Stars $109 freezeout.

I considered playing the $2,500 mixed hold'em (NL/limit) today, but decided to just play online for another day while getting over this cold...and because I really enjoy being a bounty for the ClubWPT's weekly bounty tournament.

A few other players from Poker Players International (www.ppipoker.com) and I have $50 bounties on our heads, which players really go after since it represents 5% of the overall $1k prize pool (1st place = $150).

I think I'm going to get back in action on Saturday with the $1,500 NL, unless I decide to play the $1,500 limit hold'em shootout out of boredom. I'm also considering a rare decision to skip online donkaments next Sunday in favor of the $3k NL at the Series, especially since I'm looking for redemption in that particular tourney after busting it in 13th place last year.

Time for me to continue the quest for day two (and three?) rungoodsauce...
