This episode features a diseased Daniel Negreanu and plenty of Phil Hellmuth's trademark complaining but there were a few very important people conspicuously missing from the broadcast.
PokerListings.com was on the scene for every second of the Main Event. Enter the ESPN Cutting Room Floor, your window to the real action at the WSOP.
We all love Negreanu, and we all love to hate Hellmuth, but there's a few people we enjoy watching more than both those pros combined.
In some sort of freak twist of fate almost every female player of note was playing on Day 1c, and ESPN somehow missed them all.
Liv Boeree, Lacey Jones, Erica Schoenberg, Isabelle Mercier, Maya Geller-Antonius, Christina Lindley and Liz Lieu were all playing. None of them made the cut. Six of those seven names were my choices for the hottest female players at the WSOP so check out that blog post for some SFW photos of them.
Anyway, if it's actual poker you're interested in ESPN does a good job with that. There's plenty of card and chip-related activities to be found so go ahead and watch the embedded video below.
Check back tomorrow for the Day 1c installment of the Cutting Room floor for some sweet durrrr and Ivey secrets that didn't make the ESPN tape.
