As you can see in the picture above Tom "durrrr" Dwan has a bit of an unusual table draw to start things off here at the World Series of Poker Europe.
Not only are there only two other players at his table, it's two of the tightest players in the entire room. Joe Beevers and Ted Lawson are both solid players but they're not exactly maniacs.
Ted Lawson is so slow when he plays poker he's earned the nickname "The Human Ellipsis".
So far we're just a short way into the first level and already durrrr's stack has suffered at the hands of these two titans. Dwan seems to be pushing the action which can be dangerous if your opponents are picking up hands.
This is only a £2,500 event but we know it's important to Tom Dwan. He's literally got millions riding on his bracelet bets and these events count. He came so close in Las Vegas this summer with a second-place finish he's gotta be hungry for another chance.
Considering that the first-place prize is a number he wins and loses in a single day online and the bracelet bets are pretty much the only thing motivating him.
***Update*** We're halfway through the second level of this tournament and durrrr is out! He'll be back for Event 2 to be sure so check back then for more durrrr coverage.
