$2/$4 or $25/$50 PLO?

Since arriving home two weeks ago, I have been playing at least a few hours a day online on Pokerstars. I have only played one day of tournaments, in which I went 0 for 10.

The rest of the time I have just been grinding PLO cash games. I almost forgot what it was like to 8 or 12 table. I feel like I'm getting back into the groove of it.

I had a couple really bad sessions in a row playing 3/6 and 5/10 PLO. After getting crushed for the second straight day, I decided I was going to flip a coin (literally): Heads- move up and play 25/50 right now, Tails- wait until tomorrow and drop down to 2/4.

I flipped the coin and it landed tails. Ok, 2 out of 3? Tails again! Alright 3 out of 5! Tails once more! Ok, ok, I get it- no 25/50 just yet.

I think I'm going to stay at 2/4 for a little while where I can play more tables and not really ever tilt. I will probably play a full schedule of tournaments on Sunday and take a little break from cash.

My next live tournament will most likely be EPT Barcelona in early September. Although I may be taking a trip with some friends to Mexico or some place in the Caribbean in late August, which would be a lot of fun.

"Do the B or C List pros, (if I may),", Sounds like a D-Bag thing to say if you really don't mean to insult anyone. Mercier has accomplished more to this point in his career than most will in a life time. He shows class and rakes pots like a mad man. Show some damn respect to a PRO who has the skills and lives the life you only wish you could

Okay sounds reasonable. The post reads differently. I ask my question, which I do not intend to insult anyone, because I read stories about pros busting. The Jean-Robert Bellande ploy first pops into my mind... busting and sitting at 5/10 online with a 3 buying bankroll.

Do pros like I mentioned really have an effective, basically unlimited bankroll? Do they just borrow from friends, backers or sponsers when short on cash?

well, bankroll management depends on your bankroll... 25/50 is well within my bankroll for playing and i used to play it all the time... i can afford it, but whether or not i feel like winning or losing 30k is going to depend on how i feel... as of right now i dont really feel like playing 25/50 and just feel like i should be grinding lower stakes

Question... I assume that 25/50 PLO is outside of the bankroll management guidelines... Do the B or C List pros, (if I may), exercise perfect (or atleast somewhat good) bankroll management typically? Or is it common to jump 3 levels when tilting or bored?
