Betfair Poker upgrades allow 15 multi-tables

Betfair Poker has retooled its software, upgrading the site to give customers improved multi-table functionality in response to player demand.

The poker room has already completed the improvements and renamed the software Betfair Poker Plus to reflect what it says is the most significant increase in capability since the site's re-launch on its own platform in October 2006.

Players can now choose from 25 individual enhancements, including an option to choose different views for multi-tabling. Spawning connecting tables, detaching and re-attaching tables and resizing windows are now all available. But for those who prefer it, the old view is still an option.

Up to 15 tables - enhanced by tweaked graphics and resolution - can be played at the same time. Betfair has also enlarged the default view to improve visibility.

The changes are the result of input from the poker room's real players. Betfair will continue to work with its customers to enhance its platform, the company said in a release.

The change is old hat for the forward-thinking site, which has made 12 software updates since its launch.
