Europe's best - a collection of champions from the World Series of Poker, Aussie Millions, World Poker Tour, European Poker Tour and the Asian Poker Tour - will congregate in London this weekend.

They'll meet in front of a live audience at Riverside Studios for the Betfair.com Masters of Europe, a 36-player invite-only tournament with a $300,000 prize pool.

The first of six heats kick off this weekend, feeding into the final table Monday. The winner - either a pro or six online qualifiers from Betfair - will earn $120,000.

Playing for the win are WPT winners Tony G, Juha Helppi and Roland de Wolfe; EPT winners Ram Vaswani and Vicky Coren; and World Series of Poker bracelet holder Willie Tann.

The pros will all be hooked up to a heart rate monitor, the results of which will air, along with the tournament, on SKY Sports at the end of May.

Other challengers at the Masters of Europe include BadBeat's Marc Goodwin, Thomas "Buzzer" Bihl of Betfair poker fame. Bihl will also host free seminars for intermediate to advanced players in the live audience Saturday.
