Betfair Poker announces online Singapore tournament
Even if you're not in Singapore, Betfair Poker wants players to experience its Asian Poker Tour firsthand.
The company is offering players the chance to compete in an online version of the tournament running in Singapore Nov. 12-17.
Though the inaugural live event will see players competing for $2 million in prize winnings, the online tournament features $100,000 in Asian-themed prizes, including an all-expenses-paid vacation at the seven-star Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai, trips to Hong Kong and Bali, Sony and Samsung electronics, a year's supply of beer and Betfair Poker Asian Poker Tour goods.
The online event starts Monday, with $0.50 to $5 tournament, culminating with a $9 to $100 main event Nov. 18. Daily satellites to the main event have already started.
