Full Review
Bet-at-Home is an attractive skin on the small but underrated International Poker Network.
Originally a sportsbook, Bet-at-Home expanded into poker in recent years but the player base has remained focused on the sportsbook and online casino.
The lack of serious competition on the site is a boon for experienced poker players looking to earn some cash.
As a member of IPN there are a lot of familiar qualities that you will find elsewhere on the network including relatively simple but usable software, solid promotions, weak players and a wide variety of games including No-Limit Hold’em, Pot-Limit Omaha and Seven-Card Stud as well as some more unusual games like Five-Card Draw and SOKO.
Bet-at-Home doesn’t do a lot to differentiate itself from the rest of the skins on the network but its certainly one of the better looking ones with an eye-pleasing color palette.
Perhaps the biggest criticism of IPN sites is the software, which is rarely updated. Indeed the poker client is somewhat drab compared to some of its competitors but it works and the interface is at least easy to understand.
Although it’s a smaller room, Bet-at-Home does offer some tremendous promotions including big sign-up bonuses, regularly scheduled giveaways and a variety of freerolls for new and experienced players. Every now and then you’ll find a freeroll that is barely attended, which just cranks up the value even more.
A word of warning to MTT and Sit & Go junkies: Bet-at-Home is not a huge site and it can sometimes be difficult to find higher stakes games during off hours. Cash games are usually better but it can still be tough finding much beyond $1/$2 No-Limit.
Despite these flaws, Bet-at-Home remains a very appealing option for players who are sick to death of grinding out a small profit on competing networks. Use just a little bit of game-selection and you should be able to find games where the players are equal parts loose and terrible. It’s a profitable combination.

Tournaments and Freerolls
Tournament players will have plenty to keep them busy on Bet-at-Home with over €3 million in guaranteed tournaments month.
The site also offers thousands of Euros in guaranteed tournaments every day ranging from €1 all the way up to €4,000.
Keep in mind that Bet-at-Home is primarily a small stakes site so you’ll be hard-pressed to find many tournaments with buy-ins higher than €100.
Sit & Go players will find a lot to like at Bet-at-Home with 9-handed and 6-handed tables starting nearly every minute.
There are also a large number of freerolls on the site and in our experience the fields are small, which is only a good thing for players looking to get some extra value.
Bet-at-Home offers more live tournament satellites then you might expect and in years past the site offered numerous seats to WPT Ireland.
Software and Graphics
Generally players aren’t going to Bet-at-Home for the software.
That’s not to say it doesn’t have it’s own charm and it is actually pretty straight forward to use but the platform seems outdated by its competitor’s standards.
The standard features are all there including four-color decks, custom avatars, re-sizable tables, multiple currencies, multiple languages, player notes and hand histories but you won’t find any exclusive features.
One area where Bet-at-Home does surprise, however, are the sheer amount of games available on the site. No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha are obviously in the mix but so are Seven-Card Stud, Five-Card Draw, Five-Card Stud and even SOKO. Perhaps even more surprising is that the Five-Card Draw games are generally quite busy.
If you’re a massive multi-tablier you might run into some problems as we found the client slowed considerably with more than four tables running at the same time.
Updates for the International Poker Network have been few and far between although its been getting better over the last few years.
Soft Competition
The soft competition on Bet-at-Home is what keeps players coming back for more.
Instead of gaining a marginal edge on some of the bigger sites it’s possible to find tables on Bet-at-Home where you can straight up break the game if you’re not careful.
Bet-at-Home has a history as a sports betting and casino site and that certainly works in favor of experienced poker players.
Many players after winning a big sports bet will log on and attempt to parlay some of that cash into a big poker win.
It was rare but there were a few times where we witnessed players who clearly didn’t understand basic poker hand rankings.
Unlike some sites where the low stakes games are soft but the medium stakes get extremely tough we found there were some good spots to be had in the medium and even high stakes games. The only problem is the high stakes games are infrequent at best.
In summary, If you find yourself losing or breaking even on one of the bigger sites, you might do well to check out the pillow soft games on Bet-at-Home.
