The poker room isn’t the only place that’s going to be rocking for the 2014 Battle of Malta.

Not one but two exclusive parties will take place during the four-day festival, which runs from Nov. 6-9.

The Battle of Malta kicks off with a cocktail party and reception in the Oceana Suite of the Hilton Hotel on November 6.

Package holders, guests and sponsors will be able to get to know each other in a more intimate setting with great food and drinks. It will be a relaxed affair running from 8:30 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Battle of Malta
Work hard, play hard.

On Nov. 8 the 2014 BOM really gets rolling with a VIP party at exclusive club The Villa, which is an award-winning venue that overlooks the stunning Balluta Bay.

Package holders get in free but other players can buy a ticket into the event for €25.

The all-out party will start at 9 p.m. and run late into the night. Last year various celebrity guests partied into the wee hours of the morning with non-stop dancing and general revelry fuelled by flaming bottles of champaign.

This year PokerListings has teamed with Malta-based fitness studio FreeMyMe to provide two dancing performances including one by iconic pole artist Michelle Shimmy, who’s flying in all the way from Australia.

Her performance will be followed by a “Free My Moves” Chair/Dance routine to get everyone warmed up for the blowout party to follow.

For anyone staying in Malta, FreeMyMe is even showcasing its new age vision and brand new, specifically designed classes absolutely free of charge from Nov. 10-15, which might be a good choice after a week of partying and poker at the Battle of Malta.

Here's the complete party schedule for the 2014 Battle of Malta:

  • Nov. 6 - Cocktail reception and party at the Oceana Suite of the Hilton. Begins at 8:30 p.m. and runs to 1 a.m.
  • Nov. 8 - BOM VIP party at The Villa. Starts at 9 p.m. and runs late.
