Barry Greenstein joins Team PokerStars.com

By: Sarah Polson

Another poker pro has jumped on the Team PokerStars.com bandwagon this week. On Tuesday, Barry Greenstein was added to the team, and he will represent PokerStars.com at tournaments around the world as well as play online at their site.

"Since the last three winners of the WSOP Main Event are on the [PokerStars.com] team, and I plan to win it, I decided to show ultimate confidence in myself and join PokerStars.com ahead of time," Greenstein said.

No matter how you define a poker champion - number of tournaments won, amount of money earned, World Series of Poker bracelets won - Barry Greenstein fits the definition. Since he started playing poker, he's won millions of dollars in cash games and tournaments, become one of the top money winners on the World Poker Tour circuit, and won two WSOP bracelets.

Greenstein has also put his poker knowledge and winnings to good use by writing "Ace on the River" and contributing large portions of his tournament winnings to charity, earning him the nickname, "the Robin Hood of Poker."

Greenstein joins an ever-growing team of players at PokerStars.com that includes Chris Moneymaker, Greg Raymer, Joe Hachem, Tom McEvoy, Victor Ramdin, Isabelle Mercier and Wil Wheaton.
