Aussie Millions qualifiers up at Pacific Poker

By: Christopher Hunt

It seems like it just finished. And in fact, it did - Gus Hansen took the $1.5 million first-place prize at the 2007 Aussie Millions just two-and-a-half months ago. But players are already anxious to make plans for their return, and Pacific Poker is ready to oblige, with qualifiers for 2008 now underway.

By all accounts, the 2007 Aussie Millions at the Crown Casino in Melbourne was a smashing success and a player-friendly favorite.

And with January temperatures in Australia hovering around 80 degrees, it's no wonder players are, again, anxious to get back.

Pacific Poker is more than willing to oblige: April 14 and April 28 at 6:30 p.m. (GMT) they'll be hosting direct qualifiers for $75+$5, with a seat and travel expenses for the 2008 Aussie Millions totaling $11,000 up for grabs.

Daily satellites to the direct qualifiers are also running, with buy-ins as low as 50¢.

Registration is open now, and you can find the events under the global tab at Pacific Poker.
