The Big Event at The Bicycle Casino played down to the final table Wednesday.

A series of big pairs vaulted Las Vegas' Jeremy Ausmus into the chip lead as the final eight was set.

In the meantime, Victor Ramdin, who had held the chip lead the previous two days, held strong and will enter the final table second in chips.

2005 World Series of Poker Main Event champ Joe Hachem sits in the middle of the pack, but is easily the most experienced of the bunch, having already collected a WPT title and $11,014,140 in lifetime earnings.

In fact, outside of Govert Metaal's $510,361 in career earnings, the majority won in his fifth-place finish at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure $25,000 High Roller, and Ramdin's $2,811,973, no one in the group has more than $100k in career tournament winnings.

Despite PokerStars and the North American Poker Tour pulling its branding at the 11th hour, The Big Event at The Bicycle Casino still drew 417 players over two starting days in Los Angeles this past weekend.

A $1,921,327 prize pool was created with $500,000 reserved for first.

The final table will play out at the Bike beginning at 1 p.m. PT Thursday.

Heres' how the stacks will look when play begins:
