Asian Poker Tour registration closes Sunday

There's just a few more days to register for the Betfair Asian Poker Tour taking place in Singapore Nov. 12-17. Registration closes at midnight on Sunday.

The main event starts Nov 15 and is expected to attract players from around the world. Pro poker players Liz Lieu and John Phan have already signed on to play.

Satellites to the main event begin playing Nov. 12. Players need to be registered before Sunday's deadline to play in the satellites as well as the main event. Online satellites also finish on Sunday.

Several poker players have already qualified for the Asian Poker Tour at Betfair Poker, which hosted qualifiers online and at live venues around the world. Betfair Poker has also guaranteed a $1 million prize pool for the $5,000 buy-in main event, but a $2 million prize pool is expected.
