Arieh wins weekly Bodog.com heads-up match

Josh Arieh

There's extra incentive to take first place on next week's Bodog Poker Tournament Leaderboard: Team Bodog pro Josh Arieh took out this week's leader - vinnyb9 - in their heads-up challenge, and the payout rolled over to $3,000.

Each week on Bodog.com, the player at the top of the tournament leaderboard squares off against the Team Bodog pro of their choice - either David Williams, Evelyn Ng or Arieh - with $1,000 on the line.

If the player wins, they obviously take the money home with them.

If the pro wins, however, the money carries over to the next week and gives a new leaderboard champ a shot at even more.

That's the case for next week, as the victory in the weekly heads-up series bumps Arieh's record to a respectable 24 wins and 12 losses in the series and puts the jackpot for next week's TLB match at a hefty $3,000.
