The second day one starting flight at the ANZPT Gold Coast main event was a sellout, ensuring the event has set a new attendance record.

All 140 seats and 10 alternate seats were sold early bringing the total field to 287 - Up from last year's 249.

That means a $717,250 prize pool that will pay 32 places with $182,965 reserved for the winner.

2010 Aussie Millions Champion Tyron Krost joined the field Thursday, as did PokerStars Team Australia Pro Tony Hachem, ANZPT Canberra champ and high-stakes cash game pro Jason Gray and 2009 Aussie Millions $100k winner David Steicke.

PokerStars Qualifier Darko Balaban finished at the top of the list of 63 survivors from the day.

They will join the 69 Day 1a survivors for Day 2 Friday at the The Jupiters Hotel and Casino poker room beginning at 11:30 a.m. Australia Eastern Standard with plans to make it into the money or play a full seven levels.
