Renowned poker pro Annie Duke is again turning her success at the poker tables into help for people in need.

A key player in the "Ante Up for Africa" charity event at the 2007 WSOP, which raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for war-torn Darfur, Duke is re-investing her energies into another charitable cause - this time hosting the upcoming "Aces for Wishes" night to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles.

Set for Sunday, Aug. 12, the event will take place at the popular restaurant and lounge Social Hollywood, in Los Angeles, with guests enjoying a night of Texas Hold'em, casino games, high-end prizes, drinks and appetizers, all to benefit children in need.

Participation can be split in two parts, with just access to the casino play running at $175, and a poker tournament seat including casino play runnng $350. Tournament winners will receive an array of high-end prizes, and casino-game winners will be eligible for premium gifts as well.

The event will run from 3 p.m. - 9 p.m., with poker registration beginning at 3 p.m. and the tournament beginning at 5 p.m. Casino play begins at 4 p.m.

If you're interested in supporting the event, three levels of sponsorship are also available at $5,000, $7,500 and $10,000.
