Aido, Moorman Strong Off the Start at EPT London
Both Day 1s are now in the books at EPT London with Spain’s Sergio Aido blazing to the overall chip lead and Brit Chris Moorman out strong for the local hopes with a top 5 chip stack.
Aido, the surprise winner of the UKIPT main event this week for £144,555, carried over his run good to bag up a towering 215,200 to end the day – outdistancing Day 1a chip leader Marc Andre Ladoucer by over 50k.
Topping the counts for the local hopes heading into Day 2 is none other than Chris Moorman, one of the most successful online poker players in UK history.
Buying in for Day 1b today after a solid run in the UKIPT High Roller on Sunday, Moorman packed up 159,800 to sit fourth overall.

Rounding out the top 5 heading into Day 2 are Spain’s Adria Balaguer at 160,000 and Lebanon’s Bassel Moussa at 146,900.
