Action Poker Network to host $500,000 Guaranteed series

Action Poker Network, home of TigerGaming.com and Nine.com, has announced the launch of a $500,000 Guaranteed prize pool freeroll poker tournament series awarding players hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash prizes.

The series began last month and will feature daily tournaments until October 1, 2006, when the main event will be held. The championship tournament will award 30 places with cash prizes, including a first place payout of $200,000.

"We want our players to be rewarded and to feel excited about playing at the Action Poker Network and the $500,000 Freeroll is the just the beginning of our 2006 activities," said Jake Kalpakian, CEO of Action Poker Network.
