Action Poker Network flexes American muscle

The Action Poker Network is celebrating its U.S. players with a tournament series prototypical of the American Dream, with a chance to take 11 cents and turn it into $3.2 million at the World Poker Tour (WPT) World Championship in Las Vegas.

The "$30,000 U.S. Poker Experience" starts Tuesday and promises three things to its winner: "American Poker, American Luxury and American Muscle."

How does it plan on providing that? With a $25,000 seat in the 500-player field for the WPT World Championship, Apr. 21-27, accommodation at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino and a Dodge Viper to cruise the strip in while you're there.

The estimated prize pool is also certainly American Dream worthy: $13 million in total, with $3.2 million going to the winner.

The "Experience" will run from Dec. 19 to the final stages Apr. 1, with ongoing satellites at ActionPoker.com.
