Absolute Poker sponsoring 7 Deadly Sins party

Greed is good.

Absolute Poker pro Matt Vengrin will be hosting the "Greed" component of a 7 Deadly Sins Halloween party in L.A.

The party is scheduled to take place this Saturday at exclusive new Spanish-style club Marbella in Hollywood.

The night will be composed of seven different elements, each one meant to emulate the biblical seven deadly sins.

Absolute Poker will take care of the Greed aspect by transforming the Marbello Bank into the "Royal Casino."

Vengrin will act as the host while guests try their luck at craps, blackjack and poker to win prizes.

Vengrin, who used to be known by the online alias Plattsburg, has amassed over two million in his poker career playing both live and online. He most recently went deep in the 2009 WSOP $10,000 World Championship PLO event to cash for $25,816.

The other six sins will include Gluttony sponsored by Hooters, Lust by Bangtime Clothing, Wrath by MMA Worldwide, Vanity by Runway Magazine, Envy by the feature film Farm House and Sloth by BAMMA USA.
