AAROOKIE Stuns durrrr for $160k
Even the rookies are starting to beat up on Tom “durrrr” Dwan in the high stakes games on Full Tilt Poker.
Last night the Team Full Tilt Pro recorded over 2,000 hands of $40/$80 No-Limit Hold’em against upstart AAROOKIE and eventually finished $160k in the hole.
It’s just the latest in a string of losses for Dwan who has been on a serious downswing since falling behind nearly $700k to jungleman12 in the durrrr Challenge.
Just before Dwan started playing AAROOKIE, jungleman12 came online and requested some durrrr Challenge action. Dwan mentioned he was too inebriated but then went on to play over 2,000 hands against AAROOKIE.
In the month of September durrrr is now down over $500k, which makes him the biggest loser so far.
Another Full Tilt icon, Phil Ivey, was busy last night as he managed to extract $54k from deprimiert in just 52 hands. Ivey and Patrik Antonius have essentially been taking turns beating the Limit specialist at his own game all this month.
Despite his troubles, durrrr was not the biggest loser last night. That dubious honor went to IHateJuice who lost $286k to MissNikita1987.
Finally Shaun Deeb recorded a massive score last night, although it wasn’t at the cash tables.
Deeb outlasted a field of 1,433 to win PokerStars WCOOP Event 28. First place in the $1,050 buy-in event netted Deeb $243k.
Earlier this month Deeb won the $750k Guaranteed on Full Tilt Poker for $132k so it’s safe to say he’s officially on a roll.
Here’s a look at several of the biggest hands from last night. Be sure to check out our online poker stats section for more information.
