The World Cup starts June 12 and Luis Suarez and sponsor 888poker are giving everyone at home a shot at grabbing some glory of their own along with $400k in free cash.

From June 12 to July 13 online poker site 888poker will be running twice-daily $2,000 freerolls where 50% of the field qualifies for an ever bigger daily $10,000 freeroll.

The fun doesn’t end there, however, as the top 500 players in each daily $10k freeroll gets into one of two $15k Semi Final freerolls.

Finally the top 4,000 finishers in the Semi Final freeroll will qualify for the main event: a $20,000 cup final freeroll on July 13.

You can win Daily $10k Football Carnival tickets in a variety of ways including making sports bets on 888.

Meanwhile the twice-daily $2k freerolls don’t require tickets and are open to any new depositors on the site.

Freerolls aren’t the only perk for 888poker players over the next month.

Players will also be able to sign up for a special bonus code using whatever country they support.

For instance if you support Italy you’d enter: Italy2014 during the depositing process.

In that example if you deposited $50 you’d get an extra $15 bonus if Italy wins the Semi-Finals or an extra $30 if they win the World Cup.

The action has already begun on 888poker with $2k warm-up freerolls running three times a day June 2-11 with Daily $10k Freerolls if you want to qualify early.
