888 Holdings, Plc. sponsors French football club

888 Holdings, Plc. announced it will be the official club sponsor of the Toulouse Football Club for the 2006-2007 and 2007-2008 seasons. As part of the agreement, the 888.com brand will appear on the club's playing shirts, on fixed and digital signs at the stadium, and on the club's official Web site.

In a statement in the company's forum, it says they're "very excited about this latest sponsorship and look forward to a fruitful relationship" on and off the field.

This agreement is also a further extension of the company's diversified, multi-channel marketing strategy to grow its non-U.S. customer base and strengthen 888 Holdings, Plc.'s position in continental Europe and the U.K.

The Toulouse Football Club, based in the southern region of the Midi-Pyrenees in France, competes in the French first division championship. The club kicked off the new season Saturday at Bordeaux and will play its first home match in two weeks against Nice.
