The $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em event of the Borgata Winter Poker Open played down its final table yesterday. With Michael Mizrachi in the hunt for the win as well, it was a tough table but Matthew Casterella pulled out the win.
Casterella won $375,100 for his first place finish. He was followed by Elio Cabrera in second for $211,750 and John Myung in third for $114,950.
The Borgata is also reporting that one of their $100 Act 1 satellite winners has moved on to win the Act II and earn himself in the World Poker Tour main event of the tournament.
His initial $100 investment netted him a $10,000 seat and a chance to play for the $1.6 million top prize.
