$33k overlay in Bodog's Sunday Guaranteed

The Money

The number of entrants in Bodog.com's Sunday $100k tournament took a big dive this weekend. Only 666 players paid the buy-in, and the site consequently had to put up $33,500 to match the guarantee.

The two previous weekends, 810 people played in the big event at Bodog, so the decrease was a significant one.

Bodog, however, wan't the only site to see attendance drop. Several other major Sunday tournaments also had unusually small starting fields.

Player pokerskibum made the most of the opportunity, and took home the Bodog tournament and $25,000 in prize money.

Pokerskibum wasn't the chip leader when the final table started, but managed to climb up in the rankings and finally defeated Ozone23 to win the event.

In the final hand, pokerskibum called with A-3c when Ozone23 moved all-in pre-flop. Ozone23 showed K-5d but didn't hit anything and had to settle for second place and $14,300 in prize money.

Results from Bodog.com's $100k Sunday guaranteed are as follows:

2nd Ozone23 $14,300
3rd intervention $9,200
4th Jeff "HB_HITMAN" Anderson $6,900
5th finchdog $5,500
6th zurswierding $4,500
7th Jay "BigB1r" Koeller $3,500
8th TheLost $2,500
9th Unita Beaten $1,600
