24hPoker splits company into two parts
24hPoker has announced plans to split the company in half: 24hPoker Holding AB which will be the majority owner in the new company and 24hPoker.com which will run daily business-client operations.
Some of the biggest Scandinavian 24hPoker operators including Martinspoker, StaffPoker and DanePoker, will be part of the new company. By combining their collective marketing clout they hope to gain market share.
Per Åström who recently became the CEO of 24hPoker says that the division of the company will enable 24hPoker Holding AB to concentrate on its role as a supplier of gambling solutions for the online market.
Of course this move is made to strengthen 24hPoker in an increasingly tough market in which competition, especially in Western Europe, is becoming fierce.
