Day 1C of the 2007 World Series of Poker Main Event is complete, and the number of big stars busting out keeps growing. For example, Mike "The Mouth" Matusow was silenced and Greg "Fossilman" Raymer turned obsolete.

Those weren't, however, the only big-name casualties on the third opening day of the 2007 WSOP Main Event. World-class players such as Phil Laak, Phil Ivey, Andy Bloch, Men "The Master" Nguyen, David Sklansky, Katja Thater, Ted Lawson, T.J. Cloutier, Kenna James, Steve Brecher, Vanessa Rousso and Gavin Griffin busted out as well.

Pros surviving Day 1C included Darrell Dicken, J.C. Tran, Hasan Habib, Lee Watkinson, Todd Brunson, Allen Cunningham, Chris "Jesus" Ferguson, Robert Varkonyi, Steve Dannenmann, Chris Moneymaker, Humberto Brenes, Phil Gordon, Amnon Filippi and Ciaran O'Leary.

Celebrities Rene Agnelli and Jason "George" Alexander are adding some extra star quality to the event by playing solid poker and hanging in there, while actress Shannon Elizabeth and rapper Nelly were knocked out.

The 2007 Main Event will continue with Day 1D tonight. You can follow the action in the Live Tournaments Section here at PokerListings.com. Hand reports, photos from the tables, exclusive player interviews and blogs will be available.
