$1,100 Warm-Up Sets Stage for Showcase WPT Montreal Main Event

The spectacular Playground Poker Club

A huge week of poker in Montreal sets off with a $1,100 WPT Warm-Up event this Tuesday leading into the star attraction $3,500 Party Poker WPT Montreal Main Event.

Already a week into the Playground Poker Fall Classic, the Warm-Up is the start of the "big ticket" events that begin this week headed by the main event on Thursday.

With its $1,000+$100 buy-in it's the perfect bridge between the local amateur crowd, who've filled up the $150 and $250 events this past week, and the incoming pro crowd ready to battle it out in the showpiece Main Event.

With a $200,000 guarantee in this past week's $250 Frenzy event players can expect the WPT Warm-Up to step the stakes up even further.

High Roller, Survivor, Six-Max All Incoming

On Sunday the one-day $220 Survivor event plays out while on Monday the heavy hitters step to the felt with the start of the $10,000+$400 High Roller event.

The $300+$30 6-Max event also goes off on Monday.

Tuesday, November 25 sees the start of the $500+$50 PLO 3 Lives event as the Main Event hits Day 4.

A new WPT champion will be crowned the next day but still more events are to come as the $330 8-Max event gets underway.
